The Main Hall
A big, bright and versatile space
Our Main Hall is the largest and most adaptable space in the Centre—ideal for performances, celebrations, exhibitions, sports, fairs, fitness classes and large meetings.

- Accommodates up to 165 people theatre style or 120 seated at tables
- Large 3m x 4m drop-down screen and powerful ceiling-mounted projector
- Professional PA system with four speakers
- Excellent acoustics for music, dance and theatre
- Fully marked Badminton Court and space for Short Mat Bowls, Table Tennis and a variety of indoor sports

The Stage and Backstage Facilities
Purpose built for performance
Perfect for drama groups, concerts, live music and community productions.
What’s included:
- 5.5m deep x 10m wide stage
- Mixed lighting options—overhead spots, floods and stage bars
- Computer-controlled lighting and sound (accessible only to those with appropriate technical knowledge)
- Audio control via professional mixing desk; radio and wired microphones available
- Spacious backstage dressing rooms and toilets
The Foyer
A welcoming hub for gatherings and exhibitions
Light, open and inviting, the foyer is a natural meeting place and social space.

- Reception and registration area

The Kitchen

Our fully equipped kitchen makes hosting easy, whether you’re planning a boardroom lunch, a children’s birthday tea, or a three-course celebration meal.
Kitchen equipment includes:
- Large catering oven with six-ring hob
- Microwave, commercial dishwasher, hot water boiler
- Two large fridges plus freezer
- Ample cutlery and crockery for most event types
- Two serving hatches connecting to the Stanley Room and the Foyer

The Council Chambers

- Accommodates up to 90 people theatre style or 60 at tables
- Can be divided into two separate rooms via acoustic wall
